The Bishstrong Foundation, Inc. (“BF”) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization which aims to inspire and encourage individuals with spinal cord injuries or limited mobility issues to remain active.

Eligibility & Criteria:

BF accepts grant applications from individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Must be an individual living with paralysis as a result of a spinal cord injury or an individual otherwise living with paralysis.

*Priority will be given to applicants who are residents of New England*

BF’s grants are subject to the following conditions:

• All grants are paid by BF directly to vendor provided by the applicant.

• Any grant from BF must be the last portion of funding paid to a vendor, if the

equipment/modification is not fully covered by the BF grant.

•BF’s maximum grant awarded is $5,000.

Grant recipients, through the submission of their application, agree to provide BF photos and/or videos of themselves with grant-funded equipment to assist BF’s marketing.

Items Not Considered:

• Therapy or acupuncture

• Debt reduction or direct medical bills

• Reimbursements
